LATSIO BURN CENTER

The Latsio Burn Center, located in Elefsina, Athens, Greece, is a state-of-the-art medical facility designed specifically for the treatment of burn patients. Completed in November 2008, the center covers over 7,000 m² of indoor spaces and is equipped with cutting-edge technology throughout its operational areas. Key features of the center include advanced operating rooms, a dedicated admissions area for burn patients with independent septic operating rooms, and eight completely independent intensive care units. The facility also provides 18 intensive care beds, eight regular care beds, outpatient clinics, a physiotherapy room, and a 115-seat lecture hall that enables real-time video links to the operating rooms for educational purposes. Additionally, the site includes five parking areas with a fully landscaped surrounding area of 2,000 m².

JEPA was responsible for the detailed design and engineering of the electromechanical systems for the Latsio Burn Center. Our comprehensive involvement extended from the preliminary design phase through to building permits and detailed design, ensuring that all installations met the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and operational effectiveness, thereby enhancing the quality of care provided to patients.
